Harvest Room

Munster, IN

From the Owner: “We are a from-scratch restaurant serving breakfast and lunch with natural options such as free range eggs, grass fed beef, antibiotic free chicken, gluten free and vegan options–as well as–a Wild Child menu. Our organic tea program is also infused into our craft cocktails at the bar. Come dine with us for our Boozy Brunch or host your party for an unforgettable event.”

Here’s a Google review: Megan Limon – “We went here for Mother’s day, wonderful service & food. Reservations are definitely needed for a holiday but if you have those you should be good. Our waitress was wonderful and we didn’t feel rushed as there is an hour and a half table time maximum. The drinks were amazing. I would definitely come back for lunch or drinks anytime. This was my first time being here and I am definitely going to be back!”

Suzie’s Café & Catering

Valparaiso, IN

From Us: The winner of our “Region’s Best Breakfast” contest in 2019, we had the pleasure of heading to Suzie’s Café to film their congratulatory video for being our viewers’ #1 breakfast place. The ownership and staff couldn’t have been nicer, and they sent us home with an incredible array of dishes including their head-sized cinnamon roll.

What our viewers say: @kishdvm08 (IG) – “Suzie’s. The cinnamon rolls!”

Here’s a Google review: Ethan Hunt – “Lovely atmosphere and amazing food. The cinnamon roll is large enough for 4 people to snack on while waiting for their food. The staff are always wonderful and friendly. Definitely worth the wait for a table if you go when they are super busy. They have crayons for the little ones too so it’s definitely a family environment.”

Here’s a Google review: Aaron Webster – “I love this restaurant! I honestly have only tried the breakfast items but they are unique and amazing! My favorite is the Southwestern Biscuits and Gravy which they use a chorizo gravy! It’s so good! I have had some of the smoothies as well as some of the veggie options that my wife loves! Really great place to go! Little more pricey than some other locations but very much worth the quality of food you get.”

We serve high quality meals at a great value: from our incredible breakfast options–as well as–lunch, dinner, and a well-stocked bar. Pappas is a Crown Point staple, and that wouldn’t be true without our loyal patrons who have made it so. It has truly been an honor to serve the many generations that have enjoyed us, and we look forward to serving the future generations to come.”

The Scrambled Diner

Dyer, IN

From us: One of the most desirable places for breakfast to our viewers, The Scrambled Diner has unique, home-made dishes that are sure to scratch your breakfast itch. Make sure to give yourself plenty of time due to the limited seating on its most packed times during more traditional breakfast hours.

What our viewers say: @djeenigenburg – “Scrambled Diner. Best scratch menu in a 2 hour radius.”

Here’s a Google review: Derek Hinks – “We have only lived in the area for a short period, but we heard that this place was very good and it did not disappoint! My wife and I shared the Aloha Skillet and the ribeye sandwich, and they are both very good! Very nice and refreshing to have a unique but delicious meal. Definitely going back soon.”

Main St. Café

Crown Point, IN

From the Owner: “We’ve been the best breakfast place in Crown Point since 1971! Our customers can expect everything from traditional omelettes to more modern dishes like chilaquiles, chicken and waffles and so much more. What our viewers say: @lzurbriggen15 (IG) – “I have always been partial to Main Street Café around 2-3am.”

Here’s a Google review: Lynn Brown – “This was my first time eating at Main Street Café. I should’ve taken a picture because my berry pancakes were beautiful and delicious. I usually don’t order pancakes at most restaurants because they’re usually too thick and filling. These were perfect! They had just the right amount of fluff and flavor. The service was good. I will definitely be back and recommend this place to everyone.”
